This one is all about where we are looking for our definition of who we are. Do you need the approval of others? Afraid if others get angry with you? Afraid to be alone? How about using alcohol, drugs, sex or shopping to feel better?
These are all signs that we are looking outside of ourselves for love, happiness, approval and acceptance. Of course, we all do this at times. This Switch is for those who are looking outside more than inside.

Taking is not the same as receiving. Taking is an aggressive energy, while receiving is an opening, trusting energy. Those who take more than they give also have difficulty receiving with their heart. When giving and taking are out of balance, BOTH states push others away leaving us feeling lonely and empty.
Marlana energetically looks at your Taking – Receiving Switch and gets it moving more freely between the two states. When we become more conscious of our taking and receiving we flow more easily in our relationships and we feel better about ourselves.
